Seminar topics, presented by subject matter experts, provide insight, knowledge, critical information and training directly related to human performance. Safety Standdown is neither aircraft nor manufacturer specific, and will include information that is applicable to any aircraft flown. It is not a marketing event and is offered at no charge. Now is the time to prepare for the anticipated EASA requirements. EASA OPS NPA is on the street and contains requirements for a Safety Management System (SMS). ICAO Annex 6 Part II, applicable November 18, 2010, contains additional requirements for non-commercial operations of large and turbojet airplanes. Operating your flight department to world-class standards begins with the implementation of the IS-BAO, which contains an SMS as the cornerstone of the program. IS-BAO implementation and registration is recognized by the CEN and a number of states as a method of complying with regulatory requirements. The IS-BAO Workshop will provide an overview of the IS-BAO program including a discussion of the IS-BAO standards and SMS, steps to implementation and the registration audit process, as well as an in-depth discussion to the IS-BAO and the benefits it can bring to your operation.
A separate payment, which does not include Registration for EBACE, is required for this one-day Workshop. Registration fee: $500.

Addressing issues of safety within business aviation is a high priority for all. The press in Europe has recently been critical of business aviation safety, although overall our safety record is good and in parts outstanding and comparable with the very best airlines. Nonetheless, improvements can still be made. Furthermore, the monitoring of such improvements would be greatly aided by the compilation of accurate statistics by which to measure performance. In this Session we'll analyze the data collected thus far, identify specific problem areas and discuss the tools needed to boost the industry's safety levels.

SESAR is now into the development phase and decisions are already being made on datalink and other technologies that could have a profound effect on our cockpits and how we operate. Yet not all developments are coordinated toward a common goal, and commonality with the U.S. equivalent Next Gen is vital. Come and hear the latest news from the experts, and find out what might be in store and what they are doing to protect your long-term interests.

Organizations cannot ignore the need for an emergency response plan. Corporate responsibility, "duty of care" and directorial accountabilities demand a well considered plan. Key individuals must know the plan and their roles within it. Making it up on the day just won't work. Come and benefit from EBAA's recent initiatives to help you develop good emergency response plans that are suited to your needs!
