EBACE Indoor Exhibitor Stand Configurations & Drawing Approval
To ensure that EBACE is a valuable event for all Exhibitors, there are limitations on the Stand designs permitted in the Exhibit Halls. For some Stand configurations, Exhibitors must submit scaled floor plans for approval to EBACE Management no later than March 16, 2012.
Please keep in mind the following when planning your indoor Exhibit Space at Palexpo:
- Hanging signs, materials or components with the exception of lighting trusses are not permitted above Non-perimeter Island Stands.
- Perimeter hard walls occupying 50% of the Stand Space are not permitted in non-perimeter island Spaces
- Please try to avoid blocking small Exhibits when planning your Exhibit Space.
Raw Space
A minimum of 36 sq meters is required to reserve Raw Exhibit Space.
Inline Stand
Inline Stands contain one or more 3 m by 3 m units in a straight line (up to 27 sqm) with Stands on either side and/or behind its back wall.
- All Inline Stands between 9 sqm and 27 sqm must include 2.5 m (8 ft high) solid backwall and sidewall panels. Exhibitors are required to either purchase the Basic Shell-Scheme wall panels offered through EBACE Management or select one of the many Shell Scheme "turn-key" packages offered by Freeman.
- The maximum permitted height of Exhibit materials, components and identification signs is 2.5 m (8 ft).
Perimeter Island Stand
A Perimeter Island Stand contains perimeter wall structures, is greater than 4.6 m (15 ft) in height, has one or more Display levels, is unfinished on any side and/or requires hanging signs, materials or components (excluding lighting trusses).
- Exhibit materials, components, identification signs and hanging signs will be permitted to a maximum height of 7.6 m (25 ft) provided written approval is requested from EBACE Management by March 16, 2012.
- Full use of the floor space is permitted.
- All Exhibitors occupying Island Stands (of any size), must submit scaled floor plans for approval to EBACE Management no later than March 16, 2012. Drawings should be submitted via email to Linda Peters at lpeters@nbaa.org.
Non-Perimeter Island Stand – 186 sqm (2,000 sqf) or larger
A Non-Perimeter Island Stand over 186 sqm (2,000 sqf ) has aisles on all four sides and requires one or more Display levels.
- Hanging signs, materials or components, with the exception of lighting trusses, are NOT permitted above Stand Spaces.
- Perimeter hard walls occupying 50% of the Stand Space are NOT permitted.
- Exhibit materials, components and identification signs will be permitted to a maximum height of 4.6 m (15 ft) provided written approval is requested from EBACE Management on or before March 16, 2012.
- Full use of the purchased floor space is permitted.
- All Exhibitors occupying Island Stands (of any size), must submit scaled floor plans for approval to EBACE Management no later than March 16, 2012. Drawings should be submitted via e-mail to Linda Peters at lpeters@nbaa.org.
Non-Perimeter Island Stand – less than 186 sqm (2,000 sqf)
An Island Stand less than 186 sqm (2,000 sqf) has aisles on all four sides and requires one or more Display levels.
- Hanging signs, materials or components, with the exception of lighting trusses, are NOT permitted above Stand Spaces.
- Perimeter hard walls occupying 50% of the Stand Space are NOT permitted.
- All ground supported Exhibit materials, components and identification signs will be permitted to a maximum height of 6.1 m (20 ft).
- Full use of the purchased floor space is permitted.
- All Exhibitors occupying Island Stands (of any size), must submit scaled floor plans for approval to EBACE Management no later than March 16, 2012. Drawings should be submitted via e-mail to Linda Peters at lpeters@nbaa.org.
Multilevel & Covered Stands
All Exhibitors in Island or Covered Stands must submit their Exhibit plans for approval to EBACE Management, Palexpo and the Palexpo Fire Marshal by March 16, 2012.
Plans must include:
- Event name and Stand number
- Maximum number of occupants allowed
- Structural engineer's stamp certifying that the platform can bear the maximum occupant load
Drawings for tents, awnings and canopies should include detailed plans showing size, height, location, anchoring areas and certification that the material is flame retardant.
Certain Stands may require fire watches, smoke detection devices, fire extinguishers, multiple exits, etc., as required by fire prevention officials.
All Exhibitors with Island and Covered Stands, regardless of size, must submit one copy of a sealed and scaled floor plan (with front and side elevations) to:
